From the moment you begin planning, our pre-retreat concierge team is here to assist with every detail. We’ll help you design your ideal retreat and recommend activities that align perfectly with your theme and intentions.
We offer pre retreat concierge services assisting you in creating your retreat and suggesting any activities that meet your theme. In addition, we include a daily beach shuttle to both beaches in San Juanillo and any other beaches within a 5 km (2.5 mile) distance.
During your retreat, we will be on site to attend to your needs and support your retreat so you can create a memorable experience.

The Yoga Shala
Perched above the jungle canopy, the yoga shala offers sweeping views and a serene atmosphere at any hour. As dawn breaks, the sunrise paints the sky while the sounds of the awakening jungle create a natural symphony. The shala is thoughtfully prepared with mats, blocks, straps, washcloths, and mat spray to support your practice in comfort and peace.
Accomodations
Soma Retreat Center offers five thoughtfully designed rooms, welcoming up to seven guests plus three tenting options for a total of 10 guests on the property (we also have housing options just a short hike from the center). To preserve the tranquility and privacy of the space, the retreat center is available for full-property rentals only.
Each accommodation has been created with comfort and harmony in mind.
All rooms, with the exception of the Humble Abode, feature air conditioning and naturally tempered water for your ease. Every bed is carefully positioned to the South or East, in alignment with the ancient principles of Vastu, encouraging deep, restorative rest and energetic balance.
For those guests who wish to stay closer to nature, we also offer three on-campus glamping tents, each comfortably furnished with bedding and situated in a covered area equipped with lighting and electricity. The tents are located near the yoga shala. This peaceful option provides access to a shared bathroom and shower and is available at $30 per person, per night.
Just a short hike away...
Additionally, off-campus housing is available for guests who prefer more privacy or extended comfort. Nearby private cabins offer a serene retreat surrounded by nature, with shuttle service provided for your convenience. Some of these options come with access to a pool. Transportation
At Soma Retreat Center, we make getting around simple, safe, and stress-free, so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your retreat. We include one daily shuttle to San Juanillo beaches or any nearby beach within a 5 km (2.5 mile) radius.
Airport Transfers
In the spirit of supporting local communities, we work with Costa Tours Adventure, a hardworking, family-owned Costa Rican business based in San Juanillo. Their team is known for being honest, reliable, and safe—providing you with a worry-free ride while supporting local families.
We are also happy to coordinate airport transfers to and from Liberia Airport. To schedule your shuttle, please provide each participant’s name and flight details in advance.

Dining at Soma Retreat Center
We offer fresh, vegetarian meals made from locally sourced, organic produce whenever possible. Some ingredients may not be organic, but we prioritize quality and sustainability.

All reservations are accepted for 6 nights from Saturday 4:00
pm to Friday 10:00 am.
Rates are per week and include 7 guests.

Payments
All payments requested via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or wire.
10% of accommodation charge due at signing of contract to

Remaining balance of accommodation and meals is due 30
days prior to arrival.
Cancellations
All payments for accommodations are non refundable. Meals
are refundable within 30 days of retreat start date.
